CONSULTATION
Day 1

Day of arrival.

Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After a long flight and time zone changes, there will be time to rest.

Ushuaia is not only the gateway to Antarctica but also the crab capital of Argentina: from here, king crabs are delivered all over the world. In the evening, we will have dinner at a restaurant with a tasting of this delicacy.

Day 2

Ushuaia, known as the southernmost city on the planet, is located at the very edge of South America. During the day, we will board our ship and set off on a journey through the Beagle Channel, surrounded by mountains.

Day 3-4

In the next two days, crossing the Drake Passage, we will feel the atmosphere of a true polar journey: the fresh sea breeze, the waves of the open ocean, and perhaps a meeting with a whale surfacing. After passing through the convergence zone, where cold waters meet warm subantarctic ones, we will find ourselves in the Southern Ocean. Majestic albatrosses of various species will soar in the sky, while petrels and Cape pigeons will fly nearby – this is just a part of the amazing birds that will accompany our path to the icy continent.

Day 5-11

We are embarking on an unforgettable journey to the most impressive corners of the Antarctic Peninsula. We will experience landings on zodiacs, majestic icebergs, glaciers, colonies of penguins, and encounters with whales and seals.

The program covers numerous iconic locations: Livingston Island with sea lions and gentoo penguins, the volcanic crater of Deception Island with the ruins of a whaling station, Cuverville with the largest colony of gentoo and macaroni penguins, the picturesque bays of Neko and Paradise, where you can step onto the continent and see humpback whales. Under favorable conditions, we will pass through the Lemaire Channel to the Plene and Petermann Islands, visit Crystal Sound, and cross the Antarctic Circle.

Additionally, landings on Detail Island with an abandoned British station, the Fish Islands with southern colonies of Adélie penguins, and the Melchior archipelago – a realm of icebergs, seals, and whales, where wonderful diving opportunities arise, are possible.

The special highlights of the route include the chance to see the mesmerizing southern lights and, if lucky, visit the Ukrainian station Akademik Vernadsky.

Day 12-13

Our return journey will be far from lonely. Crossing the Drake Passage, we will once again encounter numerous seabirds that we remembered from our trip south. But now they seem a little more familiar to us, and we to them.

Day 14

Every adventure, no matter how grand it may be, eventually comes to an end. It is time to disembark in Ushuaia, but the memories of it will accompany us wherever our next adventure takes us.

Transfer to the hotel and rest after a busy program in Antarctica. And if there is a desire and time, it will be possible to take a walk around the city.

Day 15

Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport. Today we leave this fairy tale and return home.
