We arrive in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Here the driver meets us and takes us to the hotel. Hosea Kutako Airport (WDH) is 40 km from the city.
Depending on the time of arrival, we will either have time to walk around the city, or have dinner and immediately go to rest after a long flight.
In the morning, we check out the cars, check the camping gear, and go shopping at the market. After that we leave for one of Namibia’s most famous national parks, Etosha.
On the way we will stop for the night at our first campsite. This is where we have our first safari scheduled. We will be able to see rhinos, giraffes, antelopes, elephants and more!
In the evening, we are going to have dinner at a restaurant, where we can get to know each other better.
Today we will drive about 250 km
Breakfast and drive to Etosha National Park. This is one of the largest national parks in Namibia. It is located on the northwestern edge of the Kalahari Desert in the area occupied by the Etosha salt marsh and adjacent savannas.
In order to maximise our chances of seeing more animals, we have set aside 1.5 days to visit the park. Today we will drive through the northern part of the park and visit 4 watering holes where the animals gather.
As we drive through another gate, we will immediately find ourselves at our cosy lodge, where a delicious dinner with a gorgeous sunset outside the window will be waiting for us. We settle into our lodges and relax, as we will spend the whole day tomorrow on safari.
Today we will drive about 360 km
Today is going to be a very busy day. It is possible that this day will be the most memorable one for many!
We gather our things and with the first rays of the sun we drive up to the gates of the national park. park, where our safari will begin. We will drive about 250 kilometres visiting different water bodies to see and film: elephants, antelopes, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, lions and many others.
We will stop at a local lodge for lunch, and towards evening we will stop at our next campsite. We’ll set up tables and chairs, have a sunset barbecue, and share our impressions of the day over a glass of local wine.

Moving to the incredibly beautiful region of Damaraland.
Here we will see ancient cave paintings that are up to 5000 years old! We will also visit a living museum, where the Damara tribes live, who, along with the Bushmen, are the oldest inhabitants of Namibia.
We’ll stop at a market and petrol station on the way, and check into a lodge nearby in the evening.
Today we will drive about 350 km.
We pack up and drive out to one of the most photogenic locations on our tour, Mount Spitzkoppe. Along the way we will see representatives of the Himba and Guerero tribes selling various souvenirs.
We set up our camp on the national territory. Park, after which we take our cameras and go to take pictures of the local beauty. The main highlights of the place are Mount Spitzkoppe, called the local Materhorn, and the stone arch, which reminded us of the arch in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. In the evening with a glass of local wine we will watch a fantastic starry sky. After that, we can take a lot of great pictures against the backdrop of the arch and the stars.
Today we will drive about 200 km
For today we are scheduled to return to civilization, to be exact, to the main port city of Namibia, Swakopmund.
We have breakfast, pack our bags, and hit the road. Today we have only 180 km to drive, so we will have plenty of time to walk around the city, buy souvenirs, try the local oysters, and, if desired, swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
We check into a comfortable hotel for two nights.
Wake up early, have breakfast and leave for the town of Walwis bay. Here we transfer to kayaks and head towards Pelican Point to take selfies with the kittiwakes who will jump on your kayak! Also, we will see flocks of pelicans and dolphins.
We return to the port, transfer to local jeeps, and head to Sandwich Harbour with our guide drivers. This place is unique in that here the ocean meets the sand dunes. We’ll ride along the coast, “take off” on the dunes, grab a bite to eat with a view of the ocean, and head back to town.
If we have time, we’ll walk around the city.
Today we will drive about 80 km
In the morning we will have time to walk around Swakopmund. You can go to the market, buy souvenirs and stroll through the cozy streets.
We say goodbye to the ocean and head inland. Today we have to drive 350 km to one of the most beautiful valleys of Namibia – Sossusvlei.
On the way, we stop for a bite to eat the famous local strudels.
Towards evening we arrive at our campsite, prepare a barbecue and enjoy stargazing by the pool, with the backdrop of the highest dunes in the world.
Today will probably be the most photogenic day of the entire trip! We leave at dawn in order to catch the most beautiful light. From our campsite to the parking lot at the dunes, we still have to drive through the national park. park for about an hour. All this time we will be accompanied by Martian landscapes outside the window. And the morning sun will whip the saturation of colors to the max!
Upon arrival at the location we will be able to climb the highest dune in the world – Big Daddy and the famous dune number 45, and then, of course, do a photo shoot at Dead Swamp. The place got this name because of the ancient dried up trees and the takir, formed as a result of drought.
In the evening we go back to the campsite. We have dinner and organize a farewell party, because tomorrow we are going back to Windhoek.
Today we will drive about 150 km.
We have breakfast and leave for the capital. On the way, we will see in person how the desert comes to the savannah and take a couple of photos from the observation deck on the mountain pass.
Arriving in town, check into a comfortable hotel, return the cars and relax by the pool after a busy programme.
In the evening we gather for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Today we will drive about 450 km.
We have breakfast at the hotel, say goodbye, and leave for the airport. This concludes our African adventure.
